The beauty of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ is that a prophet continues to receive revelation from God. Gordon B. Hinckley past away on Monday and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is now lead by the Council of the Twelve Apostles, just as in Christ time. This 'apostolic interregnum' leads the church until another prophet is chosen by revelation. We will miss you President Hinckley!
